The 2012 Newmar Dutch Star 4353 is a luxury diesel motorhome that offers a dramatic and classic design, with a spacious and comfortable interior. This 42-foot coach features four slide-outs, a tag axle Freightliner chassis, and a powerful Cummins ISL 450HP engine. It can sleep up to six people, with a king-sized bed in the rear bedroom, an ultraLux hide-a-bed sofa with an air mattress in the living area, and a combination desk/dinette table that can convert into a sleeping space. The coach also has a stacked Whirlpool washer and dryer, a 36-inch radius shower with a glass door, and porcelain tile flooring throughout.

This Dutch Star boasts a sleek and stylish exterior including LED headlights. The coach has plenty of storage space, with pass-through compartments and a slide-out tray. It also has an Oasis hydronic zone heating system, an 8.0 kW Onan Quiet Diesel generator, and hydraulic levelling jacks with single-touch controls.

With an interior designed to impress, with vibrant fabrics, oiled bronze light fixtures and accents, and a diagonal polished porcelain tile floor. The kitchen features a solid polished Corian countertop, a 30-inch convection microwave, a three-burner cooktop, and a residential refrigerator. The kitchen backsplash has bold marble porcelain tile and grey glass inserts, creating a striking contrast. The woodwork is handcrafted glazed maple, with raised panel cabinets and fluted columns. The living area has UltraLux leather furniture, a ceiling fan, and a Sony LED TV with surround sound.

Enter the driver’s seat, which is equipped with Comfort Drive steering making driving easier and less tiring by automatically returning the wheel to center after hard turns. The captain’s chair is also stitched in UltraLux leather and has six-way power, heat, and lumbar support. The dash has a Sony rearview monitor system, cruise control, antilock brakes, and radio.

Greg, our sales rep, was most cooperative in answering our questions and providing a professional level of service. Adam, the service tech, was very patient with my wife and me during the orientation period before delivery. He spent the time needed to familiarise us with the operation of the trailer. They were very accommodating with delivery schedules for both me and the public carrier I hired to deliver the trailer out of Province. Greg even offered to come down to the shop to open the gates after hours when it looked like the carrier would be late. Greg really made the whole experience a lot less stressful than imagined. Long story short, we purchased the unit. On pickup day they had moved the unit into the heated showroom.
